Geography: Born and raised in New Orleans. Have lived in Chicago, Dallas and Milwaukee. Moved to Baltimore in 1984. Moved to the Washington DC suburbs in 1993, and to the ex-urbs in 2002.

WMZQ, Washington, DC: Creative Services/Production Director since March 10, 1998. Host of The UpAllNite Show from September, 1994 till February, 1998. Nominated for Achievement In Radio Award in "Best Overnight Show" in '95, '96, '97 and '98. Also host of "Spectrum," a public affairs program heard Sunday mornings at 7:30.

VOA Europe Network, Washington, DC: Show Host, Reporter, Feature Writer, Editor. The most unique job I've ever had. Getting requests from Sweden and Bulgaria was very cool!

92STAR, Baltimore, MD: Hosted Morning Show for a year, then Afternoon Show for a year. Assistant Program Director for awhile. (This station is now 92Q).

98Rock, Baltimore, MD: Marketing & Promotion Director for a few years in the mid 80s.

I also worked at radio stations in Dallas, Chicago, Milwaukee and New Orleans.

Career advice: The most predictable aspect of radio is its unpredictability! If you want to do this for a living, be prepared and be flexible! It can be fun and glamourous. It can be boring and dehumanizing.

And taking my own advice, I've also been a Marketing Consultant, Photographer, Wedding DJ, Sales Clerk, Construction Gopher, Banquet Server and Telemarketer.
